Sales Representative
Sales & Business Development · Full-time
Los Angeles, CA, USA
Job description:
Sales Representative
Location: Los Angeles, California (On Site)
Reports to: Head of Emerging New Business and Account Management
About Warp
Warp is building the operating system for freight.
Businesses use Warp to quote, book, track, and manage freight across LTL, full truckload, cargo vans, box trucks, and more through one platform, one login, and one invoice. Warp's own LTL carrier operates alongside major carriers behind the same customer experience.
Warp has doubled every year for the last three years.
We're building a team of people who learn incredibly fast, take ownership, and want to build something meaningful.
The Role
This isn't a traditional sales job.
You won't close customers and hand them off.
You'll own the relationship.
You'll:
- Find new customers
- Help them place their first shipment
- Grow them into repeat customers
- Increase how often they ship
- Expand them into additional Warp services
- Become their trusted transportation partner
You'll be responsible for building and managing your own book of business.
Your success is measured by one thing:
How many valid portal orders your customers place.
Who We're Looking For
We care much more about how quickly you learn than what you already know.
You should be:
- Extremely curious
- Highly self motivated
- Comfortable teaching yourself new things
- Strong at communicating with business owners
- Organized
- Competitive
- Coachable
- Obsessed with improving
Freight experience isn't required.
Sales experience helps but isn't required.
We'd rather hire someone who learns twice as fast than someone with ten years of average experience.
Why Warp
We're not looking for people who simply want another sales job.
We're looking for people who want to build.
You'll work directly with company leadership.
You'll own real customer relationships.
You'll help shape how thousands of businesses buy freight.
If you're successful, your responsibilities will grow quickly.
Our Hiring Process
We don't hire from resumes.
We hire from evidence.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first few months, you'll be expected to:
- Learn Warp's platform quickly
- Build your own customer book
- Create repeat ordering behavior
- Grow customer shipment frequency
- Become someone customers trust
The more your customers grow with Warp, the more you grow with them.
Requirements
- Must be located in Los Angeles
- Strong written and verbal communication
