Job Summary
As an Implementation Analyst, you will be a member of the Implementation team, within Professional Services. You are responsible for the successful delivery of Urbint’s AI-powered technology to help our utility clients make communities safer and more resilient. We are looking for an action-oriented individual who is obsessed with truly understanding client needs. With that understanding, you will internally advocate and articulate the client needs to our R&D team (product, software engineering, machine learning), in addition to externally translating the value of our technology to both senior executives and day-to-day operation managers.
Responsibilities
- Support the full customer implementation process, defining to-be processes, scoping out data integration needs, running user training sessions, and anything else that needs to be done to have a successful implementation
- Work with customers to understand their data and to gather custom business and technical requirements
- Run preliminary analysis of client data to ensure smooth data transfer to internal teams
- Support the Implementation Managers in reporting of project status and forecasts
- Configure client specific functionality in the software (i.e. tailored workflow creation, custom reporting requests, etc.)
- Testing and documenting of underlying data models, processes, and reports to meet functional design and specifications
- Supporting the development and delivery of customized user acceptance testing and training materials for end users
- Clearly capture and articulate client needs to our R&D team (product, software engineering, machine learning) to influence the direction of Urbint’s new product features
- Become an SME on Urbint’s products, including understanding how artificial intelligence can be used in the utilities industry to help our clients
Skills and Experience
- 1-4 years of experience in technology, engineering, or analytics related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Systems Implementation, Statistics or another related degree
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Track record of excellent customer service skills with the ability to influence through data-driven story-telling & customer decision trade offs
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- High degree of accountability
- Possesses strong Excel & presentation skills
- Familiarity performing business analysis
- Willingness to travel (20%-25%)
- Knowledge of SQL, JSON, databases and general data technologies
- Knowledge of visualization (eg. PowerBI, Tableau) and data prep tools (any ETL tool) are a plus
- Utility or Energy related field experience is a plus
Compensation
- The target base salary for this role is C$70,000 to C$90,000
