The Role

We are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to play a key role in our organization’s marketing and communications efforts. As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the metrics, insights, and dashboards that drive our marketing and communications outreach to a sophisticated B2B audience of commercial and industrial executives. These executives are involved in selling, installing, and maintaining some of the nation’s largest solar installations. With the support of renowned backers including two of the planet’s largest utilities, Microsoft, Liberty Mutual, and investment leaders driving a renewable future, this role presents a growth opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage marketing operations strategies and processes to support the overall marketing and communications goals of the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and analytics, to ensure alignment of marketing operations initiatives with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to track and analyze marketing performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Utilize marketing automation and CRM systems to optimize lead management, lead scoring, and lead nurturing processes.
  • Website management, including maintaining and updating pages via Wordpress.
  • Implement and manage marketing technology stack, including marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, data analytics tools, and other relevant marketing tools.
  • Strengthen and improve the effectiveness of the overall Lead flow Process to eliminate waste/leakage, accelerate accuracy and speed to assignment.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization and improvement within marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the creative and content teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing operations, automation, and technology, and recommend innovative strategies to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to marketing operations team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in marketing operations, marketing automation, or a similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset, ability to extract insights from complex data sets, and experience with data visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), including programming and system enhancements, is essential.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology stack, including knowledge of analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), content management systems, and email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
  • A passion for clean energy and sustainability is highly desirable.
