Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Radio Assembly Intern to join our growing and dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of various radio components and systems. This position demands precision, a good understanding of electronics, and a passion for quality workmanship. You will work closely with the engineering team to optimize and refine the assembly process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble radio components and systems according to technical specifications and assembly diagrams.
  • Perform soldering and wiring tasks with precision.
  • Conduct functional and quality tests on assembled radios to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot assembly or component problems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures during assembly processes.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve assembly processes and product design.
  • Keep detailed records of assembly procedures and issues encountered.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to stay up to date with the latest assembly techniques and industry trends.
  • Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision while producing high-quality results.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in electronics, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in electronic assembly, preferably in radio or similar devices.
  • Proficient in soldering and understanding electronic schematics (0402).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work meticulously and with fine components.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of dexterity.
  • Capable of lifting 35 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a standing or seated position for extended periods.
