The Job
Omnidian’s Residential Operations Team is seeking a Director of Forecasting and Capacity Planning. This is a new role and we are excited to meet candidates who are passionate about people engagement and creating a positive work environment for all operations employees. We are looking for someone who is passionate about driving innovation through optimizing staffing to deliver business efficiencies while delivering outstanding client and homeowner experiences.
Our ideal candidate will shape a new function responsible for designing our operational forecasting processes and implementing these in combination with capacity plan modeling, backed by world class collaboration with recruitment and training partners. You will create a best in class team delivering excellence in planning and forecasting to support Omnidian residential operations as it scales its operations across the US.
You will think strategically and contribute to major innovations that help Omnidian scale through exponential business growth. Your primary responsibilities will lie in the design, creation, implementation and ongoing execution of line of business forecasting and capacity planning.

What You’ll Do

  • Forecasting and Planning:
  • Design, create, implement, and execute an advanced forecasting and planning process to predict incoming work volumes.
  • Identify historic trends to accurately forecast consequential work volumes.
  • Create dynamic capacity planning models and hiring plans for operations.
  • Work with our Sales team to take new client revenues and volumes, translating these into staffing requirements in the operation to deliver best-in-class client and homeowner experiences.
  • Partner with the VP of Residential Operations to enable the achievement of our service level and productivity goals for our clients and homeowners.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Residential Operations as well as cross-functional teams at Omnidian, such as Engineering, Product, Field Service Network, Sales, and Client Success.
  • Lead daily stand-ups with Operations Leaders, driving collaboration by identifying opportunities for improvement of workforce utilization and service levels.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Utilize expertise in data analysis, designing dashboards, and identifying key trends.
  • Present high-quality data in a logical and understandable format.
  • Develop executive report summaries.
  • Provide strategic analysis to senior management.
  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of new systems.
  • Establish project planning principles within the team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Team Development:
  • Work with internal stakeholders to design an efficient and scalable customer support network.
  • Lead and develop team members in areas of dashboards, scorecards, predictive analytics, and machine learning.
  • Establish relationships with business leaders to share insights and identify root causes, supporting strategies to improve the customer and homeowner experience.

  • You are an expert in partnering with Engineering teams and using voice of the customer analytics from operations to shape new and innovative automations and process enhancements.

Experience You'll Need

  • 10+ years of leading forecasting and capacity planning teams, specifically in any related operations. Must include Contact Center experience for online and offline channels.
  • Strong analytical and data modeling skills
  • Experience in and passion for analyzing data and identifying patterns
  • Track record of excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and analysis skills for researching, analyzing, developing, and leading in the implementation of Human Resources related programs and recommendations
  • Degree in a business or quantitative field (engineering, economics, mathematics, business administration)
  • Expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, Service Cloud Voice, AWS Connect
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools
  • Proficiency in statistics and data analysis techniques

Experience That's a Plus

  • Experience with Sigma Computing, or another cloud-based Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Process Improvement experience such as Lean
  • Knowledge of Assembled
  • Experience with deep contact center analytics and AI
  • Experience leading analytics teams to work across organizations with various levels and partners to prioritize dashboard needs and align reporting to the business
